Practice
Practice becoming present. Practice attuning to yourself. Practice accessing your inner wisdom. Practice calm. Practice curiosity. Practice clarity.
When we begin to cultivate self-leadership, we step into a deeper relationship with ourselves—learning how to navigate challenges, emotions, and decision-making from a place of trust and clarity. The practice of self-leadership is ongoing, and like any skill, it strengthens with intentional focus and consistency.

The tools you need are already within you. This space is designed to help you access them.
Come as You Are
Come just as you are. What could that possibly entail?
This meditation invites you to create space for whatever you might bring with you into this moment.
If you’re bringing thoughts, habits, stories from your past
if you are bringing the issues of the day, analysis of things on your mind, the concerns of the moment
if you are considering tomorrow, anticipating the future, or worrying about the unknown of the days or weeks to come
This meditation invites you to bring everything weighing in your mind or stored as stress in your body into this present moment.
We can use our breath to create space for all of these, creating a sense of presence and personal power to hold space for whatever is with us - past, present or future.
We welcome the issues of life with a sense of calm, and empower ourselves to navigate them with grace.
Smart Heart Care
This meditation brings awareness to our range of emotions, welcoming whatever lies within our hearts.
We need all of our emotions in order to lead the lives we desire. Difficult emotions can often help us realize something is wrong in a relationship or circumstance, they can nudge us to make changes and set new boundaries. Savoring positive emotions can help lead us to greater joy and ecstasy.
This meditation practices exercising curiosity and compassion for whatever emotions surface, exercising my "Golden Rules" of heart care
Allison's Golden Rules of Heart Care:
• welcome any emotion that surfaces, even if it’s a difficult emotion
• become curious and compassionate with respect to your emotions
• attend to your emotions, not just experiencing them and not denying or shelving them
• let emotions be fluid, let them move through you and not stay stuck for too long
• find a safe person to share your emotions with - reminding yourself that you’re not alone
May you have courage to welcome whatever lies within
May you experience the warm embrace of compassion to soothe a wounded and aching heart
And may you find flow, releasing whatever your heart needs to let go
Loving Kindness
We could all use some extra loving kindness! This meditation invites you to become present, leaving the day behind, and offering yourself deep relaxation and compassion.
We focus on offering ourselves loving kindness and then extending loving kindness to our homes, our communities and our nation.
May you, yes, YOU be filled with loving kindness today and everyday
Wholeness
Wholeness is defined as: the state of forming a complete and harmonious whole. Wholeness is a “state of forming”, it’s active, it’s a process and we can work that process.
Wholeness and separateness are inextricably linked, and our work is to incorporate our separated parts in order to becoming whole.
When we mask or hide parts of ourselves to fit in, those parts in us can become separated. When we’ve been hurt by someone, our wounded and vulnerable parts can become separated. When we’ve had to strive for success or safety, our playful and creative parts can become separated.
This meditation welcomes all parts that have been in hiding and all parts that have been separated with a spirit of curiosity and compassion.
Deeper Rest
Stress effects our ability to concentrate, to sleep, to feel rested and to think clearly. Mediation can be a helpful tool to become more present, to combat anxiety and worry - shifting away from stress and deepening into relaxation. Ahhhh
This mediation invites you to get extra comfortable, lie down and deepen into rest. We focus on the body, bringing awareness to all the places we may hold stress, and inviting a sense of calm and compassion from head to toe.
May you be still
May you find rest in your stillness
May your body be a place of safety and calm, a place of resource and power
May you find that your breath brings life to every square inch of your being
And may you rest deeply so that you can address each new day with the generous power of your spirit
Justice
Justice is born of LOVE
Love protects
Love corrects
Love honors
Love respects
Love sees you
Love welcomes you just as you are
Love restores you
Love equips
Love offers compassion. May we meditate on the power of Justice in Love, welcoming the power of compassion within us to provide rest, restoration and readiness to fight for freedom and justice for all.
